100 words to win it all...

Thank you for visiting our poetry contest entry page!

There are a few important things to note before you proceed. If you submit an entry, you're certifying that you've understood and agreed to everything below.

If you don't like, don't understand, or refuse to do something listed below, please don't enter this contest.

  • The very first step to take before entering any contest is to carefully review the contest terms and conditions so that you aren't caught off guard by something that was clearly stated prior to you entering the contest.
  • If you don't read the terms beforehand, you take full responsibility for not knowing what you're signing up for.
  • Reviewing the terms also gives you an opportunity to ask questions if anything in the terms isn't clear to you.
  • You can ask questions by giving us a call at +1-404-384-5258 (non-US entrants can use WhatsApp) or emailing us at [email protected].
  • The contest terms and conditions can be reviewed at GetBookHelp.com/contests

Submission Guidelines

Make sure your piece meets the criteria to be eligible to compete and win. If your submission is missing any of these elements, please don't pay your entry fee and submit it. It will simply be disqualified and you will have wasted your time and money.

  1.  Entries must be submitted by the author, or their legal representative, who is at least 18 years of age.
  2.  Entries must be no longer than 100 words. If your entry is longer than 100 words, it will be disqualified.
  3.  Entries must be submitted as a PDF. If your entry is not in PDF format, it will be disqualified.
  4.  Entries must be primarily written in English. Borrowed words and the occassional word in another language is fine. But the judges need to be able to understand the poem on a technical level before they can judge your expressive skills.
  5.  Entries must not have won first place in any previous WU contest.
  6.  Entries must only contain two things: (1) the title of the poem and (2) the poem. No links, graphics, phone numbers, or other information should be included. If the entry contains anything beyond the title of the poem and the poem itself, it will be disqualified.

You can submit up to five entries in a single contest.

If any winner does not confirm their payment and contact information within seven (7) calendar days of receiving their award email, they will forfeit their editorial services credits.

Manuscripts must be submitted within 30 days of purchasing a service using earned credits. If an author’s manuscript is not received within 30 days of purchasing a service, the credits, as well as any funds submitted, will be forfeited.

Cash portions of prizes may be applied to editorial services at the author’s request.
